After a brief hiatus since the Huawei Band 4 was announced in 2019, Huawei is now ready with an update. The company surpasses #5 and jumps directly to 6. We’ll leave it to you to decide whether that or the company’s timing has to do with the latest announcement of Mi Band 6 Xiaomi.

- Compatible with Android 6.0, iOS 9.0 or more recently and supports Bluetooth 5.0.
- The Huawei Band 6 comes from a 1.47-inch AMOLED + HDR10, and the Huawei Band 6’s precision reaches 194 × 368 pixels per inch and is 395p per inch.
- The new design also features ultra-thin frames and a 64% screen-to-body ratio. However, unlike Xiaomi, Huawei still uses a more traditional rectangular shape, rather than a pill shape.
- Huawei Band 6 will provide continuous blood oxygen monitoring, the first of its kind in line. TruSeen will also contain 4.0 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring and TruRelax 2.0 pressure monitoring. It also monitors heart health and examines the risk of sleep apnea.
- Huawei Band 6 will have a different sports position. Other additional features include standard notifications, call alerts and messages from a connected phone, as well as a remote shutter and music playback controls.
